I have had an excellent experience TWICE with this amazing repair shop on Chicago's North Side (3445 N. Western Avenue) The first time was last Fall 2023 to repair my wife's Lexus 350 which had a number of serious dents and scratches on the left side front and back quarter panels. Greg gave me a quote on both price and time -- and I was totally satisfied on both.
The second time was this week when my Acura TSX needed a new bumper to replace left and right front damage. I took my car to Greg who knew exactly what was needed, gave me a very fair quote and I said let's do it. Well I picked up the car today and it looks LIKE NEW! I am really happy and want to thank Greg again. His quote was on target and he did the work while I was on vacation.
Luis Auto Repair was recommended to me by two professional: (1) my building parking lot Manager and (2) my auto service garage which does engine, brake and other work. So with these two giving me the same auto repair shop, I knew this was the real deal and the place to go. Greg is professional, knowledgeable, analytical and had excellent service. These guys are great. Don't listen to negative review from disgruntled customer. Took my Caddy there for minor body damage. They did a fantastic job (I am very picky) and at half the cost I was quoted at another "roaring" body shop in Lakeview. Job was done professionally in two days. Owner even offered me a ride home without my asking. Hope not to have any reason to go back but definitely would recommend to others.

I have used Luis Auto for all of my car body work since they opened. Jaguar, Infinity, Mercedes, Acura etc and they have ALWAYS done phenomenal work at very reasonable prices. I would not even consider going anyplace else even though they moved from a much more convenient location for me right near Wrigley Field to this location on Western Avenue. I give them 10 stars!!!

Just bought a Honda Accord that had a major scratch from the previous owner. We wanted it fixed, but it's a 2012 and going to be parked on the street, so didn't want to spend a ton. Went to multiple places for quotes and Luis quoted us the best deal (hundreds less!). Luis and Greg were super responsive, got it done within 1-2 days, and Greg even lowered the price some at pick up. These guys are great and honest! If I need any future body work (hopefully not) they will be the first I'll turn to or recommend!

The employees are super nice! I brought in my car with a large dent in my door on a Monday night and it was ready that same week on Wednesday MORNING! They did such a good job with the repair and with the paint job for such a good price. Also, when I picked my car up, it was parked right in front, it was washed, cleaned, and mildly detailed. My car looks perfect!

Had great experience at this shop. Chose them based on reviews, treatment when I went there and the repair quota they gave me. Excellent work at great prices. One of the parts didn’t arrive on time so they gave me discount for the inconvenience!!! This is a family business as well and they really care to provide you with the best possible experience. Just to give you an idea : went there for a bumper replacement, quota was around 600. Other places I went from Gerber to other local shops - all quotas were around 800!!! Thank you Luis Auto repair. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Greg and Luis Auto Repair. I was sideswiped overnight (hit and run) and had a relatively small dent and some scratches to deal with. I went to three shops in the area for quotes - Luis was significantly cheaper than the other two shops (less than half of the highest quote!) and I felt confident that they knew what they were doing. One shop tried to tell me that because my paint color had a pearlescent color it would cost a lot more. Greg assured me that it's a common finish and they make the paint in-house and it would not be an issue or cost more. My car was ready the next day (earlier than expected) and they were flexible with the pickup day/time. When I did end up coming, Greg had stepped out and his colleague didn't have access to the quote/payment system. He simply gave me my key and asked me to call back later to pay via phone. Since I had my 5-month-old with me it was SO nice to not have to come back in person. When I spoke with Greg to pay via phone, he let me know they were giving me a discount of ~$75 - a very nice surprise! Also, they cleaned my car inside and out before I picked it up - it hadn't been that clean in years! :) The actual work was perfect, but it was the customer service that compelled me to write this review. You and your car will be in great hands with Luis Auto Repair.

If I could give these amazing gentlemen more stars, I would. I recently got into an accident which surprisingly didn't completely total my car, but did a heck of a number on it. Not only did they do everything within the budget of the deductible and the insurance check, they went above and beyond and replaced my other headlight cover (which was fine) just so it'd match the new one they'd installed on the damaged side.
No joke my car looks and rides better now than it did before the accident, and they did some touch up work on the old panels, without being asked and without charging me. They take absolute pride in their work. It's been a couple weeks since I had the work done. I've ridden it in both stop-and-go city traffic and on the interstate during holiday traffic and I've had absolutely no issues or worries. 100% recommend.

Just got our car back. Went to another local shop in Lakeview and got an estimate for $1800. They told us a week and 14 hours of labor. Greg at Luis' gave us a $670 estimate to repair 2 damaged panels, and we opted to keep the cost down by not asking for the third nicked panel to be worked on. Show up today and the bill is $650 (below the estimate!) and they just threw in some blending on the 3rd nicked panel for free to make it look nicer. Meanwhile they detailed the car too! Is this really an autobody shop?! ;)

This company knows good customer service. My car needed quite a bit of body work which required me to rent a car while it was being repaired. They drove me to Enterprise rental which was maybe a lime away, but they didn't have to. Greg, the Manager, and his father were so responsive and when another problem was found after they had finished the repair, they went out of there way to address it. I have used this company before when someone hit me and they have always done a great job!
